Training
Krossroads Staff members are trained up to at least a CYPL 3 and above, one of our continuing goals is to ensure that our employees have the necessary skills, knowledge and ability to meet our business objectives. As an organisation that promotes investment, standards and equal access to training and education across the social care industries, we want to ensure that we set a benchmark in the way we organise our own approach to staff training and development.
The company will ensure that:
- All new staff are given a comprehensive induction into the organisation which is relevant to their employment and job role. This induction will also be extended to staff on temporary contracts and consultants who are working with us on long term projects.
- All staff based at our premises will receive a health and safety induction.
- All staff will be provided with opportunities to develop their knowledge and skills where a learning and performance need has been identified.
- All staff will be given the opportunity and support for further education and professional development where appropriate and within budget limitations.
- All staff will have equal access to training and development opportunities.
- All training will be reviewed so that the benefits can be evaluated at an individual and organisational level.
